The “extra 2 feet” is needed in order to cover a high peak (also know as “A” shaped) frame. The valance top cover is the recommended and preferred covering material for all party tents. The cover can change the look of your tent to suit your next event/party without spending too much. Our valance covers are heavy-duty tarps with an extra flap on all four sides to go over the edges of a canopy frame. The valance cover provides a little extra coverage and allows you to create a full enclosure when used with sidewalls and front and back walls.
