This specific model Alpina Tubular Motors ATM-ET-50Nm- torque / 14Rpms (Radio with remote control, no control override feature) – 110V is compatible with most mid-sized retractable awnings, commercial rolling screens, commercial rolling and hurricane shutters, motorized gymnasium curtain screen, that you can find on the market in the interior or exterior shading industry. Regardless of your current model of awning and motorization system we are confident we can help you. The motor also comes with a couple of extra features : smooth running Db level as low as 44 dB (decibels) and electronic limits with built-in receiver, wireless control. It is not compatible with other remote controls on 433.92Mhz. This motor will stop exactly where you set it to stop. In case of power failure, you do not have to go over the settings again. The motor memorizes the last settings before the power failure. You will need your own wall switch or key switch to operate this model. If you happen to have one from a previous installation go ahead and use yours. The extra two white wires from the motor are for the wall switch or key switch, a new feature on the market for these types of motors. Do not connect together as they act as an impulse for Up (In) and Down Out. You can cut them out if you wish so. If you change your mind there is plenty of cord that comes with the motor and you can always add one later. We do not provide a plug for the cord. You will need one or you can use your current J-box if you have one in place. We highly recommend you watch a couple videos on youtube and make sure you have everything you need ready in place. Based on your experience and skills and patience this is a 2 person job unless you are a professional and you know the industry very well. You can now operate your awning from a wall switch and from your remote control. The adapters come in different sizes and shapes. In order for you to find out what type of adapter you need for your motor, you need the following things. The Outside Diameter of the tube – this is a MUST step and crucial as we must match the adapters style and size first, in order for you to use this motor.
